Zirconium crown

The advantages of zirconia made substructures are, that they’re currently made with the most precise accuracy, got perfect fitting, micron millimeter precision and thus last longer. Being metal-free, they’re non-allergenic, got natural effect, because they let to pass through the same amount of light and heat as our own teeth. Thereby more aesthetic restorations can be done.
It was essential to develop the laser scanner , after the appearance of zirconia restorations,to maintain the precision when  the pattern is created. Zirconium frames is prepared by a 5-axis CNC milling machine, so human mistakes are completely out of the question.

The computer carves out the desired dental work, from a pressed Zirconia block. Then follows the sintering process, that lasts for about 12 hours on 1.450 degrees Celsius. Here is formed the final material state of the dental zirconia. Then may start  the ceramic veneering.
